The Consortium is a coalition of six women-led and minority-focused organizations in Somalia working to empower women, girls, and children. We aim to address pressing humanitarian needs, promote gender equality, and enhance resilience in communities across the country.

Locally registered, women-led organizations that share our mission of empowering women and girls and are actively involved in humanitarian work in Somalia can apply for membership. We particularly welcome organizations working in underserved or marginalized communities.

We focus on five key regions in Somalia:

  • Banadir Region
  • Southwest State (Bay and Bakool)
  • Jubaland (Afmadow)
  • Nugal (Garowe)
  • Mudug (Galkacyo)

We deliver services in areas such as education, economic empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, child protection, climate change adaptation, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and sexual and reproductive health rights.
